Your latest commit has a couple of issues:

  • It assumes that “box” is in the system path

  • It assumes there is only one server in that folder and that they want to restart the default one.

We can try that approach, but I think it would be better if the restart command was built up in the CFML portions of CommandBox where it has more information.

Hi can we use my latest commit as a fix for this issue? I wasn’t able to fix the timing issue of the old restart method

I’ve thought about that. I’d be interested in finding out why the current method doesn’t work, but I’m not sure it is possible for the current method to work 100% due to the timing issues of the old JVM process still running while it’s trying to start the new one. Anyone using Fusionreactor can’t do that due to the lock files it creates.
