use named processes (rather than everything showing up as java.exe)
It's really hard to distinguish between different server instances as they all show up as java.exe in task manager
there are a few tools out there to do this, like http://launch4j.sourceforge.net/index.html
then after interacting with the tray
"Tray Menu" only shows up after you interact with the tray icon, it seems to track the right process in terms of cpu / memory
Meh, you understood what I meant.
Anyway I was sharing an observation of different behaviours I’ve noticed because I thought it might be useful to you, and I'm old enough to be able to judge that
A server doesn’t run “under” cmd nor powershell, It’s just a Java process, that’s all.
I think it only works under CMD.exe or something, sometimes it doesn't, maybe coz of PowerShell?
Yep Windows 10
