When I try to read my standalone CF11 install I get the following error. In addition it always adds extra spaces after cfusion (e.g. Config file doesn't contain XML [C:/ColdFusion11/cfusion*///*lib/neo-security.xml]). Here's the command I used per the example --cfconfig show config C:\ColdFusion11\cfusion. Thanks in advance for the help.
Windows Server 2012, Adobe ColdFusion 11
I just ran this and it worked fine:
Also, "config" is not the name of a valid config item. I'm not sure if that's just an example for the sake of this ticket or if you actually used that word. You'd want to use a valid config item name to view a specific setting:
Or if you intended to view all configuration, it would just be like this (using positional parameters since "from" is the second parameter.
Brad thanks for the super fast response. I thought I checked lib/neo-security.xml prior to submitting this and unfortunately I must have only looked at the physical file size. This time I opened the file and noticed no XML – see attachment.
Brad thanks for all of the help, I pointed to a standalone install that didn't have a corrupt *lib/neo-security.xml * file the tool worked as expected. Sorry about my oversight but hopefully this post helps someone else.
Thanks for the follow up. That's really odd how the xml file was corrupted like that. There should be another file in the same dir called .bak that ColdFusion creates automatically any time you make a setting change.
